Jon is the Vice President, Product at Zonda Urban and a former principal and co-owner of Urban Analytics, which was acquired by Zonda Home in 2021. Zonda Urban is the leading provider of new multi-family home data and advisory services in Canada’s core urban markets - Metro Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto, Ottawa and Victoria. Zonda Urban’s parent company Zonda Home is the largest for-sale residential B2B data provider and advisory firm in North America. Jon has nearly 20 years of real estate analysis and market research experience and has provided strategic product and positioning for hundreds of development properties representing billions of dollars.

Leslie currently serves as Director of Real Estate at RBC where she provides a wide range of financial services to developers, investors and real estate owners across the province. Leslie has 15 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry and has structured and underwritten over $2Bn in real estate loans including construction, land servicing, term, operating and complex syndicate deals. Leslie holds an MBA from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and a Bachelor of Arts from Simon Fraser University.

Tony joined Ryan LLC in 2015 working in the property and asset management sector. He has been involved in an array of assignments relating to commercial and residential properties including multi-family residential, mixed use projects, Rental 100 projects, development sites, office buildings, and shopping centres. He has worked on notable assignments such as the Oakridge Transit Centre Site, Heather Lands, Valuation of Richmond Centre, and the redevelopment of Landsowne Centre and Kitsilano 6 Lands. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Real Estate, a Post-Graduate Certificate in Real Property Valuation from the University of British Columbia and is an accredited member of the Appraisal Institute of BC.

Claire is a dedicated professional with nearly five years of experience the commercial real estate finance industry, currently serving as a Director of Commercial Real Estate at RBC in Vancouver. With a strong background in real estate lending and a CPA qualification, Claire brings a unique blend of financial acumen and industry experience to her role. Claire is also working on her Diploma in Urban Land Economics with a specialization in development through UBC Sauder School of Business.

Gagan Sivia holds a CPA, CGA, CFP designation and a degree in Accounting. Her career led her between accounting and finance industries which allowed her to become a lead expert within FP&A. Along with owning an expanding real estate development company, Azure Properties Group, she is full time faculty at BCIT. She is focused on Analytics and is passionate about data. Being multi disciplinary has allowed her to teach abroad as she was the winner of the Erasmus Grant that led her to teaching about Bias in Data in the Netherlands. She was a speaker at the Association of Finance Professionals conference in San Diego where she was recognized as the ‘Top Speaker’ amongst 6,000 of the attendees. She also takes on consultant roles within the Finance Transformation Realm. Gagan is focused on creating long-standing relationships within each community in which she and Azure Properties participates. This feeds her commitment to growing the power of communities throughout BC. From this commitment to community, she also delivers a variety of programming and volunteer initiatives; including, financial literacy for at-risk women and children, and acts as a subject matter expert and resource for community minded private developers. Derek Townsend began his commercial real estate career with a dedicated focus on rental apartment financing in Canada. In short order, he became Citifund Capital’s leading expert on CMHC and conventional financing structures for apartment construction, repositioning and acquisition. CitiFund is now a market leader in rental apartment financing and represents a robust apartment business with clients ranging from private investors to REITs. Beyond brokering loans, he has a passion to influence and advance the mortgage and development industry by volunteering his time on committees and Board of Directors for prominent groups such as CFAA, UDI U40, MIABC and LandlordBC.

Michael is in the business of planning, designing, and building great communities that inspire and add value in every dimension of community life. He brings over 35 years of experience from across North America and around the World in areas of public and private sector design, development and finance. He is President of MVH Urban Planning & Design Inc. and Adjunct Professor at Simon Fraser University and Vancouver Island University. MVH continues to win numerous provincial and national awards for innovative cutting-edge development planning and design. Michael was made a fellow of the Canadian Institute of Planners in 2016 for his distinguished career and contributions to the professional.
