Jayne Bradbury owns and operates Fort Properties with her sister Suzanne. Fort Properties is a third generation family business which is focused on property ownership, management and development.

Jayne has a Masters Degree in Public Health from the University of California Berkeley, and has a special interest in the link between real estate development, urban design and healthy communities. Jayne is the past Chair of the Board of Directors of the Urban Development Institute - Capital Region and was a founding member of the Board of Directors of the South Island Prosperity Partnership.

Lisa Helps is the former two-term Mayor of Victoria, British Columbia. She is currently working as Executive Lead BC Builds Project Origination and Process Innovation at BC Housing. Previously she was the Housing Solutions Advisor to Premier Eby for the start-up of BC Builds, a new housing program that uses public land, low-cost financing, and other innovative tools to get more housing built more quickly for working people in BC. As Mayor, Lisa worked hard to create deep collaboration across the community to get Victoria ready for the future and built connection across the province as Co-Chair of the BC Urban Mayors Caucus to advance shared priorities for cities. Karen Hoese has worked in municipal government for over 30 years with the objective of making cities and their neighbourhoods more livable. Since 2020, she has been the Director of Sustainable Planning and Community Development at the City of Victoria; prior to this she was Assistant Director of Planning at the City of Vancouver. Karen believes in the importance of public sector leadership, collaborative approaches to city-building and in effectively engaging communities in planning for the future. With extensive experience in long range policy planning, development and urban design, she leads a team of talented staff in developing and implementing forward-looking policies to address the many challenges our cities are facing. Karen holds a Bachelor of Arts (Geography) and a Post Baccalaureate degree (Community Economic Development) from Simon Fraser University and a Masters degree (Community and Regional Planning) from the University of British Columbia.

Michelle recently stepped down from her full time job as the Director of Engineering and Public Works for the City of Langford where she had worked for the past 14 years. Prior to joining Langford, Michelle worked in the private sector doing contaminated sites engineering, geotechnical engineering, permitting for large industrial projects under the BC Environmental Assessment Act and also as the Land Development Manager for the 1500 acre Bamberton property in Mill Bay. Michelle is a registered professional engineer and professional geoscientist with Engineers and Geoscientists BC and currently serves as the elected Board Chair for EGBC. Michelle has her own consulting company working with municipalities primarily doing infrastructure planning for the province’s mandate to increase affordable housing as well as doing some guest lecturing for the University of Victoria Engineering Department.
