    Mohammad is an Associate at RJC Engineers and leads the Building Performance Group. As a professional engineer who is involved in thermal performance assessment of existing and new buildings, he share as passion in sustainability and efficient building design. Mohammad has lead numerous research work in this practice area, with his work cited extensively in pertinent literature. Graduating as a mechanical engineer and working alongside building enclosure engineers, Mohammad has a unique approach for each project – bridging mechanical and enclosure strategies to meet energy and Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emission reduction targets. Additionally, he has been involved in airtightness testing of many projects and has contributed to this field by teaching training courses in the past.

    As a Principal and Senior Building Science Engineer, Daniel contributes to RDH’s core practice areas of new construction, research, and sustainability while sharing his expertise as an author, speaker, and guest lecturer. Leading RDH’s advanced analytics team, Daniel guides projects in achieving energy-efficient, high-performance building designs. Widely recognized in the field of finite element analysis for construction, he has authored multiple industry guidelines and standards, including CSA Z5010 and the THERM Passive House Window Simulation procedure.

    Daniel combines his deep understanding of assembly and component performance with practical enclosure experience, ensuring modern high-performance projects meet rigorous requirements while balancing complex project demands.

    Andrew joined Avalon Mechanical in 2018 and is now the Technical Lead for the Building Performance team. In 2012 he received his Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Victoria and is currently practicing as a Professional Engineer.

    Andrew has experience simulating energy performance for various building types under several different energy standards. These include both residential and commercial projects for BC Energy Step Code Compliance, LEED EAc1 scoring, CMHC incentives, FortisBC incentives. He also designs and specifies HVAC systems, which supports his primary focus as an energy modeller.

    His design experience adds depth and understanding for modelling complex HVAC systems. Andrew understands the impacts of various design decisions on the energy performance of buildings, and possible avenues for energy conservation.
