Join us for this highly experiential workshop led by Camilla Burgess, CEO of Viva Voce Speech Arts Studio, to find your confident, authentic voice for public speaking and making the perfect pitch!
Learn tools to overcome anxiety and imposter syndrome. Find out your personal strengths as a speaker and how to prepare for your greatest success. Using a story from your life, you'll get to practice in building your credibility, speaking with presence, and forging deeper connections with your audience through vulnerability and authenticity. This is a safe, non-judgemental space for you to truly learn, explore and grow. Come and play with us, and boldly take the next step towards being the speaker you've always wanted to be.

- Increased self awareness
- Clarity on personal strengths as a speaker, and areas for growth
- Understand why public speaking causes fear, and what to do about it
- Gain physical and mental tools for calming your nervous system and overcoming imposter syndrome
- Learn how to prepare for a successful public speaking engagement
- Consider your own path for public speaking growth
- Learn and practice a physical and vocal warm up for optimal performance - helping you connect to your authentic voice
- Practice a speech/story in partners/small groups, peer feedback optional
- Have an opportunity for front of room coaching and feedback from facilitator
- Reflection and commitment to action
Participants are encouraged to bring a brief 2-3 minute presentation or story you are comfortable workshopping and sharing. The presentation topic can be anything; if choosing a story, it should be about a time in your professional or personal life when you faced a challenge.
